Lakeshore OPP have arrested and charged a father almost 14 months after the minivan he was driving resulted in the death of two of his daughters.

Six year old Wynter Williams, and her sister, Brooklyn Williams, age 3 were killed when the minivan they were riding in was involved in a crash with a freight train on Strong Road in Lakeshore on June 10th 2012. Dryden Williams, age 4 and Jasmyn Williams, age 1½, survived the crash.

Andrew Williams of Lakeshore was charged with two counts of Criminal Negligence causing death, two counts of Criminal Negligence causing bodily harm, two counts of Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle causing death and two counts of Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

Williams was released from custody Wednesday afternoon on eight criminal charges, with various conditions, which police say will not be released.
