Stolen Guns From South Walkerville Leads To Arrest

On Monday, May 27th, in the afternoon hours, a break and enter occurred at a residence in the South Walkerville area. A number of properly stored and registered firearms and ammunition, and other property were stolen from the residence. A witness reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area around the time of the break-in.

Windsor Police continued the investigation, following up on the vehicle information provided by the witness. Windsor Police arrested a man at a residence in the 700 block of Stanley and recovered some of the stolen firearms and ammunition.

A 27-year-old male of Windsor is facing charges of break & enter and theft, break & enter and steal firearm, three counts of possess a firearm obtained by commission of an offence in Canada , and three counts of possess a firearm without holding a licence .
