Investigation Into Home Invasion Continues

On Wednesday May 29th  at approximately 10:40pm, Windsor Police were dispatched to a home invasion robbery at a residence in the 800 block of Wellington. Investigation has revealed that five people were inside when two suspects rushed into the residence. The suspects were demanding “cash & weed.”

A 27-year-old male victim was injured during the altercation.  He received a cut under his right eye and to the right side of his head. He was transported to hospital for treatment of his non life threatening injuries.

The other victims, two females aged 22 and 18 and two males aged 19 and 26 in the home were not injured. The suspects were last seen fleeing the residence on foot.

Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses to the incident in an attempt to gain information regarding the suspects and possible weapons involved.

Suspect #1 is described as a male white, 5’9″ 190 lbs, with a muscular build, 30-35 years old, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a red bandana covering his face.

Supsect #2 is described as a male white, 5’9″ average to muscular build, 35-40 years old, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a darker bandana covering his face. The hood on the sweatshirt was down and he is described as balding.
