Citizens Stop Daytime Drunk Driver On Walker

Alert citizens helped to stop a drunk driver yesterday morning on Walker Road.
OPP say a black Dodge Charger was northbound on Walker Road and driving erratically on Wednesday May 8th around 11:30am. Alert citizens in vehicles in front and behind of the Charger observed the unpredictable driving and became concerned. Once all vehicles were stopped at the red light at Walker Road and Highway 3, the drivers of the surrounding vehicles exited their vehicles and approached the driver. They observed signs of impairment and removed the keys from the vehicle and contacted police.
OPP responded and arrested 30-year-old Jason Pare. Pare is charged with Impaired Driving and Exceed 80 mgs Blood Alcohol Content.
He will appear in a Windsor court on May 23rd.
