Windsor Police have arrested two teens and a 23-year-old after they were caught spray painting tags onto a restaurant on Tecumseh Road East.
An alert citizen called Windsor Police just before 2am this morning reporting mischief at a restaurant in the 6000 block of Tecumseh Road East. Three males were observed spray painting tags that resembled the words “MFR” on the building and were observed walking away north on Jefferson Blvd.
Police found and stopped three males matching descriptions in the area of Glendale Avenue and Empress Street. Police observed spray paint cans hanging out of the pockets of one of the males. The three males aged, 23, 16, and 15 years were all placed under arrest for mischief. Police seized 14 cans of spray paint and several nozzles from the three suspects.
Similar tags with letters “MFR” at other businesses in the area and a bus stop were also discovered. The three suspects were released from police custody today with pending court dates in March.
