OPP Bust Four On Christmas Eve For Copper Theft

The OPP have charged four people from Windsor after they were busted stealing copper from a business in Tecumseh.
OPP Sargent Rick Tonial credits some good old fashion police work for catching the four suspects in the act of stealing a motor vehicle and skids of copper wire.
During general patrols on December 24th at 3:30am, the OPP apprehend four suspects who had stolen $20,000 worth of copper wire and a $20,000 pick-up truck from a construction business in Tecumseh.
Police have charged Amie Decker age 24 with break and enter, two counts of possession stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and theft.
Chad Ouellette age 29 is charged with break and enter, two counts of possession stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and theft.
Shawn Grabowski aged 32 is charged with break and enter, possession break in tools, and possession stolen property.
Amber Fitzgerald aged 33 is charged with break and enter, possession break in tools and possession of stolen property.
The Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit are further investigating similar thefts in the Tecumseh and Lakeshore Area.
