Leamington Man Busted for Luring “Young Boys” With Online Ad

The Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit in cooperation with Leamington OPP have arrested a 32-year-old man for soliciting sexual interaction with “young boys”.
On Thursday, September 13th police were alerted by a source that there was an inappropriate advertisement posted on a web site on the internet relating to the solicitation of sexual interaction with “young boys.”
As a result of this information an investigation was undertaken by members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit. The reported advertisement was located and confirmed and an undercover officer from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit corresponded with the author of the internet advertisement and the suspect’s identity and address was eventually obtained and confirmed.
At 1pm on Wednesday, September 19th, members of the Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit, Target Base Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, and a member from the Leamington Detachment of the OPP executed a search warrant at a residence in Leamington, Ontario. Computers and computer related equipment were seized.
Frank Froese, a 32-year-old Leamington man was arrested within the residence without incident.
Froese is facing one count of using a computer to facilitate the commission of an offence (Luring), contrary to Sec. 172.1(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
