Three Busted by Windsor Police After Robbing Group of People on University West

Around 2:30 this morning, Windsor Police were called to the 2200 block of University Avenue West by a group of people ranging in age from aged 21 to 23 years old who were robbed.
Police say the group was walking westbound on University Avenue West when two males and a female ran up and demanded money.
Two of the victims managed to run to safety and call the police, but the third male victim was assaulted and robbed of his watch and wallet. He suffered non-life threatening injuries that did not require medical attention.
The three suspects were last seen by the victim running toward an alley in the 2100 block of University Avenue West.
Several officers attended the scene and all three suspects were quickly located and arrested by officers.
A 23-year-old male, a 21-year-old male, and a 19-year-old female all from Windsor will each be facing charges of one count of robbery, and two counts of attempt robbery.
