Summer officially got under way this week, as the skies sparkled over Windsor’s Riverfront Monday night as thousands of Windsorites sat by the river and were dazzled by the 54th annual Detroit River Fireworks.

Detroit firefighters battles a major blaze at an abandoned storage facility near the Ambassador Bridge west of Downtown Detroit Friday afternoon. The fire started minutes before 4pm at the vacant Don Miller Land Storage Company on Fort Street.
Windsor Firefighters extinguished a fire on a balcony in Walkerville late Friday evening. Firefighters were called to the 1000 block of Hall around 5:10pm for neighbours reporting a balcony on fire.
