Three Men Charged, 4000 Plants Seized in Essex County Drug Bust

The OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit conducted two Drug related search warrants on residences in Tecumseh and Lakeshore, Tuesday night.
The first warrant was conducted in the 1400 block of County Road 22 in Lakeshore. As a result of this warrant three Toronto area men have been charged with numerous Criminal Code charges, and Controlled Drug and Substance Act charges.
The three men, ages 46, 47 and 51 are currently in custody and are awaiting a bail hearing before the judicial system.
Police are not releasing their names at this time. The OPP have seized approximately 4000 marihuana plants and paraphernalia.
A second search warrant was conducted in the 12000 block of Vickery Lane in Tecumseh. As a result of this warrant, no marihuana was located, however, evidence revealed the residence was just recently used as an Indoor Marihuana Grow Operation.
The investigation is continuing at the second residence and charges may be laid.
