Two Charged After $40,000 Cocaine Bust

On Tuesday, February 14th a joint drug investigation between the Windsor Police Service – Drugs Intelligence Guns Surveillance Branch (DIGS) and the Ontario Provincial Police – Organized Crime Enforcement Branch concluded with arrests.
Just after 11:30am police stopped a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix containing two male occupants at McCugh and Florence Streets in East Windsor.
Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested for drug trafficking related
A subsequent search of both parties revealed 111.9 grams of cocaine found on one of the occupants.
Officers then executed search warrants at the arrested parties’ residences located at 12512 Horwood Crescent in Tecumseh and at 1659 Clover Streets in Windsor.
An additional 291.3 grams of cocaine and a quantity of cash were seized from 1659 Clover Street.
The value of the seized cocaine from both the vehicle and residence totalled $ 40,320.
James Justin Pillon age 28 years of Tecumseh is charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and two counts of Breaching conditions of a Recognizance of bail.
Youseff Kazoun aged 28 years of Windsor is charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and three counts of Breaching conditions of a Recognizance of bail.
A 55 year old female will be summonsed at a later date. Both Pillon and Kazoun were charged on December 15th for Conspiracy to Export Cannabis Marihuana from Canada into the United States.
These charges are still before the courts. Both had been released from custody at that time on a Recognizance of bail.
