The Essex County OPP Crime Unit has arrested and charged two Leamington men with numerous criminal charges related to a home invasion robbery on February 14th, 2012.

Over the past week, the OPP Crime Unit has been working around the clock; two search warrants were executed resulting in stolen property being recovered.

As a result of evidence obtained two men have been arrested and charged. These men remain in custody and are awaiting a bail hearing. The names of these men are not being released at this time as the investigation is still active.

Two Leamington men, ages 35 and 36 years have been charged with a total of 17 criminal charges.

Charges include:
Break and Enter to a dwelling X 2
Wearing a Disguise X 2
Assault with a weapon X 2
Robbery with a Firearm X 2
Forcible Confinement X 2
Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public X 2
Use a firearm while committing an offence X 2
Possession of stolen property over $5000
Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Theft Under $5000
