Man Arrested, Charged After West End OxyContin Robbery

Windsor Police have arrested and charged a suspect in relation to the robbery of a Shoppers Drug Mart Friday evening after he entered the Shoppers Drug mart located at 2670 Tecumseh Road West and asked the pharmacist to put some oxycontin in a bag.

During the robbery, the suspect pulled up the sleeve of his jacket revealing a piece of wood to the pharmacist. The pharmacist complied with the suspect’s request and the suspect was last seen getting into a vehicle in the parking lot of the store.

Police released images from the store surveillance video, and as a result police arrested 46 year old Daryl Grawbarger of Windsor. He faces one charge of Robbery with a Weapon. He will appear in court today to answer to the charge.
