The big story of the week was the news that the Art Gallery of Windsor and the Windsor Public Library will be joining forces helping create a new Culture and Recreation Hub in Downtown Windsor, with the Art Gallery becoming the new home of the Windsor Public Library’s Central Branch.
Windsor Police were kept very busy this week. A number of vehicles were broken into early Saturday morning in the South Walkerville area, which resulted in police arresting and charging 20-year-old Kamil Michael Sroj of Windsor with Prowling at Night on Another Person’s Property.
A Windsor man who operates the “In and Out” Convenience store at 1598 Tecumseh Road East is facing sexual assault charges involving two teenage girls after three allegations were made against him in the past seven months.
Windsor Police laid several drug related charges against two Toronto-area men after executing a search warrant at 1980 Wyandotte Street West Wednesday night.
The Rick Hansen relay makes its way into Windsor on Tuesday, and the city has lots of events planned.
