Windsor Police have one man in custody facing numerous charges after an altercation between two men in the city’s west end yesterday morning in the 400 block of McEwan Avenue.

Police were called to the area at 10:00 am for a report of a man threatening another man with a gun.  The Windsor Police  Emergency Services Unit also attended the area and contained the residence.  Shortly after officers arrived on scene, the suspect exited the house and was arrested without incident on the front porch of the home.

Police report that their investigation revealed that a number of adults and children have been living at the home.  Earlier in the morning, the suspect and another man staying at the house had gotten into an argument and the suspect produced a silver handgun from the waistband of his pants and threatened the victim with it.  Windsor Police were notified and the suspect was arrested.  ESU officers searched the home subsequent to the suspect’s arrest and located a replica “airsoft” pistol which was seized.
