Residents from across Windsor and Tecumseh are invited to celebrate the life and contributions of Jack Layton this Friday evening.

From 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm at the Windsor West NDP office located at 5353 Tecumseh Road West, you’re invited to “join with others who have been touched by the life and work of this extraordinary man and honour his memory by coming together to make this world a better place”.  Organizers ask attendees to bring candles, stories, photos and memories.

Residents in Essex County will also be joining in celebration of Layton’s life at Taras Natyshak’s Ontario NDP campaign headquarters stating at 8 p.m. – 316 Talbot St. N, Essex, ON
