Robbery Suspect Identified by Police

Windsor Police have released the name of the suspect arrested in regards to the robbery at the CIBC Bank located at 710 Tecumseh rd E. on Thursday, June 30, 2011.  He is identified as Daniel Bruce Kret, 46 years of Toronto.  He is charged with one count of Robbery with an Offensive Weapon.

Kret was arrested by police without incident at a restaurant in the 500 block of Ouellette Ave. at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011, after being recognized by a citizen who had seen the suspect’s surveillance photo image in the media and contacted police.

Kret is also currently wanted by Peel Regional Police for a bank robbery in Mississauga, Ont. which took place on June 26, 2011.
