On Wednesday following a four-year investigation a 47-year-old Windsor man was charged with fraud related offences, after the Essex County Crime Unit interviewed a plethora of witnesses regarding a possible bank fraud.
Members of the OPP Crime Unit together with the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons have revealed that the accused had made some false statements concerning his identity and finances.
Charles Nicolas ‘Nick” Rathe has been charged with; Fraud over $5000 and Public Mischief, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Dr. Rathe was released on a Promise to Appear for a future court date
