Police Arrest Sixty Six Year Old Break & Enter Suspect

Windsor Police have arrested the 66-year-old suspect wanted in the break, enter and robbery of a couple in the city’s west side early Saturday morning in the 1200 block of McEwan.

At 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, police received information that the suspect was at the office of his lawyer located at 691 Ouellette and wished to turn himself in to Police.  Officers attended the lawyer’s office and arrested Robert Mahon without incident.

Mahon appeared in court yesterday and has been remanded into custody.  He is charged with two counts of Robbery, two counts of Forcible Confinement, Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Assault with a Weapon.
