Hello time traveller!!

Four artists, one objective. Finding a collective transitional phase in their lives, all based from the narrative of the town they live in.

Amy Friend, Lisa Marshall, Lyndsey Matchett, and Giovanni Pecoraro display their various mediums of artwork at SB Contemporary Art, as part of Here Nor There. The exhibition is running until August 6th, and features all professional artists based in Windsor.

From the website,

“More and more in our everyday experience we are faced with a world, and environment that is transitional; turned upside down and around, as our surroundings change rapidly and our understanding of place both physically and mentally becomes more ephemeral.”

The gallery owner, Sarah Beveridge, was kind enough to give me the background on the current exhibition, and other events that take place at the gallery.

A local biking organization also resides at 1017 Church Street; Canada South Eco Tours coordinates group bike rides and other fun events. One exciting event, called the ARTourist Series, happens this Saturday as both organizations team up to bike around to visit every art gallery in town, the ride begins at 10 am, at 1017 Church.

For more information about this exhibition, and future exhibitions, visit their website.

Likewise, for more information about the local bike rides, including the ARTourist Series, go here.
