Dwight Duncan and health minister Deb Matthews have announced they have pulled the contract of Lou Vozza for the conversion of the former Grace hospital buildings into a long-term care facility.

Mr. Vozza had to meet a noon deadline today to provide financing for the development, which he did not.  He did submit paper work this morning, which did not meet the requirement.

At a 2:00pm News Conference, MPP Dwight Duncan said they are done doing business with him.  He stated that they have  been contact with two other developers who had interest in the past, and he hopes to have a new deal in place in one week time.  He stated the Grace site is a possibility, but could not say for sure.
