Police Arrest One Suspect In Connection With a Robbery Last Week

Windsor Police have  identified and arrested a suspect involved in a robbery which occurred last week.  On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 1:00 a.m. two male suspects entered an apartment in the 900 block of Pierre St. The 23 year old resident of the apartment was assaulted by the two suspects and a quantity of oxycontin and cash was stolen.

On Friday April 29, 2011, Windsor Police Investigators released photos of a suspect believed to be involved in the robbery.

On Saturday, April 30, 2011, Investigators received information regarding the identity of the suspect depicted in the photos, and at 6:00 p.m. that evening,  officers attended a residence located in the 1500 block of Elsmere Ave. and arrested a man matching the description of the suspect depicted in the photos.

Charged with Break and Enter, Robbery, and Assault With a Weapon. is 31 year old Robert Joseph Guthrie of Windsor.

Ian McKee , 25 years of Windsor is still outstanding at this time and Windsor Police have issued an arrest warrant for him. He will face the same charges upon his arrest.
