With increasing interest as a tourist destination, Boblo Island Development has decided to add a new feature for this coming summer  season.  ‘The Island Gallery’ will be located across from the Island Restaurant in a small air conditioned enclosed gazebo.  This spot is perfect to feature local artists who wish to display and sell a small collection of art, jewelry, photographs, glass work, pottery, etc. The inventory will be sold on consignment by the staff for a percentage of the sale. There will be no rental fee for artists in the first year.

They plan to have a ‘Featured Artist’ every weekend who can set a larger display on the elevated deck outside the gazebo. The ‘Featured Artist’ will be advertised through the Boblo Island Marina website and the printed Boblo Island Activity Guide.

If you are interested in being  a vendor or a ‘Featured Artist’ at ‘The Island Gallery’, you can contact Lorene Clayton by emailing [email protected] or calling 519-736-1111.

‘The Island Gallery’ on Boblo Island is just a short four-minute ferry ride from Amherstburg. Close enough to be convenient, far enough to be unique.
