With the nicer weather upon us, it’s been quite a busy weekend for Windsor’s police department. A lot of people are going outside and enjoying the nice weather…and a drink or two…or three..or four..or maybe five.

On Friday evening, some drunk minors in Forest Glade tried to board a city bus with open liquor and got into a fight with the bus driver and some passengers. They fled the scene before police arrived.

On Saturday, police responded to call after call of brawls outside bars in the downtown core. There was also a fight outside Silver’s on Seminole, one person involved even had a knife.

One intoxicated person was involved in a 2 vehicle collision at Ouellette and Tecumseh Saturday evening even admitted that they had been drinking.

One man, presumably drunk, decided to vandalize his apartment with golf clubs on Rossini Saturday evening as well.

It wasn’t all booze related, though. There was a few bike accidents too. On Friday evening, a man tried to drive his scooter onto the expressway, but wiped out. Surprisingly, he was fine. A motorcyclist also collided with a vehicle on Cadillac Saturday evening, but only suffered a fractured leg.

This woman here was arrested by police for walking around Walkerville while extremely intoxicated and exposing herself to strangers. It was a busy weekend and this is all just the tip of the iceberg.
