Two motorcycle vs. car collisions occurred over the weekend. Both bikers involved were fortunate enough to escape with little or no injuries.

The first incident happened Saturday afternoon around 1pm when a female motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle and thrown off her bike at the intersection of Tecumseh Road and Richardson Side Road near Tilbury.

Surprisingly, the motorcyclist remained conscious and suffered only minor injuries to her shoulders. The biker was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The second collision occurred on Sunday in the 100 block of Lesperance in Tecumseh around 4pm. Tecumseh O.P.P. state that nobody involved was injured.

It seems that the county has been a hot spot for deadly motorcycle collisions in past few years, especially in the Lakeshore and Tecumseh area.
