It seems appropriate that Windsor’s oldest comic book store resides in one of Windsor’s oldest neighbourhoods.

Border City Comics recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. You’ll find the store in amongst other cozy shops dotted along Wyandotte Street East in Walkerville. While the shop itself might be small, they have an extensive selection of comic books, graphic novels, toys and more.

Their shelves are full of every kind of comic book you could be looking for – from new to old. Border City Comics also participates in Free Comic Book Day – so be sure to visit on the first Saturday in May. For more information you can visit their Facebook page or give them a call at 519-977-7311.

But make sure to take a break from comic book shopping to say hello to Dino, the store’s lovable canine mascot. Dino’s always looking to make new friends (especially if he thinks his new friends might have food).

Border City Comics is located at 1984 Wyandotte Street East. They are open Tuesday – Friday from 12pm – 6pm and Saturdays from 12pm – 5pm.
