Take Five Bistro is a small restaurant located on the outskirts of Via Italy.

With a cozy atmosphere, Chef and co-owner Paul Sauve says the name of the bistro came from the music/acting term, a place to unwind. “We wanted something similar to a New York style club, with light jazz entertainment. We don’t like to turn and burn the guests; have them eat and rush them out. We want our customers to wine and dine.”

Decorating the walls are old photographs of Windsor; a patron’s favourite when eating at the restaurant.

A proud supported of the local industry, Sauve and co-owner Cody Northgrave shop in the neighbourhood for the best produce, meats and starches to ensure their customers are getting the freshest and finest meals.

Take Five Bistro specializes in their steaks and seafood, including their White Cheddar and Bacon Filet.

For a seafood lover, the Bistro is known for their Catch Of The Day featuring the best seasonal fresh fish.

The Bistro takes weekend reservations, and has their own private room for parties, meetings, or gatherings that holds approximately 30 people.

You can check out this place at 1068 Erie Street, where they are open for lunch Tuesday–Friday from 11:30am–2pm, and for dinner Tuesday–Sunday opening at 5pm.
