The Community Thrift Store, located at 2980 Dominion Boulevard, donates 20% of its sales to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The thrift store, which has been operating for over two years, carries both new and used items. Donated goods for sale include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes, furniture, house wares, sporting goods, electronics, toys, DVDs, VHS, CDs, records, books, home décor and holiday items.

They often have sales, such as 50% off clothing or holiday items, five records for $1.99, buy five VHS movies for $0.50 and get two free, or buy five CDs for $1.99 and get two free.

The store is helped out by many volunteers, including high school students volunteering to gain community service hours for school. If you are interested in lending a hand you can contact them at 519-966-0652.

The Community Thrift Store (2980 Dominion Boulevard) is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 8pm, Saturdays from 9am – 5pm and Sundays from 12pm – 4pm and can be contacted by calling 519-966-0652.
