The Man’s Shop is a locally-owned all-men’s hair care salon with services that vary from cuts, straight-shaves and male manicures and pedicures.

When former factory worker and 6-year customer, Jon Brown, found out the Man’s Shop was up for sale last summer after two unfortunate car accidents (that put him out of work), he knew he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity.

“I knew I wasn’t ever going to work in the factory again. I also knew going back to school wasn’t my thing. I didn’t want a restaurant or a bar because I’m a family man and didn’t want that to engulf my time,” says Brown. “I actually owe everything I have to Ken Lewenza, and unions, for helping me back on my feet.”

The Man’s Shop is decorated in sports decor, and resembles a spot men can have just for themselves; from magazines, big screen TV’s, a wide cold beer selection, even Netflix and Xbox.

“We had a comedian named Pete Zedlacher tweet about our shop saying ‘The Man’s Shop is the Spike TV of hair cuts,’ and now he’s a forever customer when he’s in the Windsor area,” Brown notifies.

The Man’s Shop is also an avid participant in charities and organizations, including the Dragon Boat Races. They also will be featured at this years Sport & Hobby Expo at the WFCU Centre.

The Man’s Shop is located at 2587 Howard Ave, and you can reach Jon or any of the ladies for appointments or more information at (519) 968-1944. The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am until 8pm, and Saturdays until 6pm.
