Quick, friendly service and knowledgeable staff is what you will experience when shopping at Ade’s Meat Market.

The meat market, which also carries a selection of other grocery items, has been located at their 1995 Tecumseh Road West location since 1963. After Mr. Ade retired in 2007, Steve and Marry Farron took over the business.

“Both our dads were butchers. My dad was a master butcher and a master sausage maker,” said owner Marry Farron. “Smokies are my dad’s recipe. A lot of the fresh sausages are my dad’s – half of them are my dad’s recipes, half of them are Mr. Ade’s recipes.”

Ade’s Meat Market carries many different fresh sausages made in-house, as well as lunch meats, bacon (sliced fresh anyway you like), hams (black forest, honey glazed, olde fashioned), steaks, ground beef, turkey burgers, pork chops, chicken breasts, and much more. All of their smoked sausage, pepperoni, kielbasa, smokies, lunch meat, and fresh sausage are gluten free and contain no fillers and no msg. Ade’s Meat Market strives to bring the best quality Canadian meat to the public.

“All of our meat is Canadian. Every now and again they’ll send us something American because there isn’t Canadian (available),” said Farron. “But we try to get all Canadian products.”

They’re ready-made items include Marry’s Homestyle Lasagna, meatloaf, and meat pies. They also have stuffed pork chops, stuffed chicken breasts, and Ade’s Veal Birds ready to take home and be cooked for dinner.

Ade’s Meat Market is located at 1995 Tecumseh Road West and can be contacted by calling 519-256-8806. They are open Monday – Saturday from 9am – 6pm and Sundays from 12pm – 5pm.
