WHAT

This free event is a discussion about the process of research and invention, by the creators of the chamber opera Pat & Emilia, which will be premiered in Windsor in 2015. Singer Tara SIEVERS-HUNT will discuss the Pat STURN and Emilia CUNDARI memorabilia housed in Windsor’s Community Museum and the role it plays in the opera. Singer Jocelyn ZELASKO will describe how she is working on portraying the role of Pat Sturn for the opera. Pat Sturn’s violin will be unveiled by violinist Velda KELLY who will talk about the luthier who made it. Marty GERVAIS will tell the story of the violin and will also present Pat Sturn’s camera.
