WHAT

A moving, comical and eye-opening story of four brave young women fighting for education. In 1896, at Cambridge University’s Girton College, Tess Moffatt and her fellow female students are determined to win the right to graduate. Fighting against the stigma of being a “bluestocking” – an “unnatural”, educated woman – they face economic difficulty, the distractions of love, cruelty of the class divide, strong opposition and painful choices.

“The message may be serious, but the mode is a funny, feisty show about undergrad antics.” – Timeout.com
