Reception : May 30th, 7 – 9 pm

Jim Mroczkowski was one of fifteen students who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Windsor forty years ago. While at York he was the first recipient of the Sarick Purchase Prize and the Stong Award.

In 2002 he was awarded an Established Artists grant from the Ontario Arts Council, the highest award granted to visual artists in the province.

His work has been included in over seventy-five solo, group and juried exhibitions throughout Canada since 1972 and has been represented by Ferneyhough Contemporary in North Bay ON and Axis Contemporary in Calgary AB.

This current exhibition at Artspeak Gallery presents a range of his most recent work.
