WHAT

In 2009, a new Gingerbread Warming House was created by building wall panels to temporarily close in the walls of the picnic shelter in Toddy Jones Park and then painting and decorating the walls.

A group of grade 12 art students at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School designed and created 3D murals and these wonderful mural panels were attached to decorate the outside of the walls.

In 2010, another group of grade 12 art students at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School designed and created textile banners to decorate the inside of the “Gingerbread Warming House.”

Please be sure to drop by and view the wonderful artwork both outside and inside of the Warming House.

Then, step inside to ‘warm up’ and see what else they have to offer you enjoy Christmas Crafts for Kids and Sunday Story Telling Time and view the entries in the Gingerbread House Building Competition.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: 5:30pm to 8:30pm until December 20th.
