‘Break the Grey’ sends message to youth and is coming to WINDSOR!!

For the past seven years, Bill Ballenger of Fort Wayne, Ind., has delivered a message through his “Break the Grey” program, presenting real-life situations – including, sometimes, bad decisions young people can make – to help young people build character and make positive choices.

Life’s messages often are delivered to youth in different ways.

For the past seven years, Bill Ballenger of Fort Wayne, Ind., has delivered a message through his “Break the Grey” program, presenting real-life situations – including, sometimes, bad decisions young people can make – to help young people build character and make positive choices.

Ballenger and his intern team presented a motivational assembly to middle school and high school students at Strasburg High School on Tuesday.

Ballenger asked how many in the audience knew a young person who had made a bad decision and died because of it.

Several students and adults stood.

“Do you know anyone addicted to prescription drugs or who sells prescription drugs?”

Students raised their hands.

“If you contributed to the death of someone by selling drugs, change your lifestyle,” he said. “How about standing up before they die? … Which is better – to save a life or save a friendship?”

Ballenger shared some of his own story.
