Who are the people behind the music? 4th Wall Music delves into this
question in its Artist Unmasked series. This year we take on one of the most
influential figures in classical music, Beethoven himself. Then we’ll turn the
tables to get a closer look at the performers themselves through the music
that they love.
Principal cellist of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Andrew McIntosh and
Robert Conway, professor at Wayne State University and pianist for the
Detroit Symphony Orchestra will present the music of Beethoven and more.
Dr. Mary Paquette-Abt of the University of Windsor will offer an insight into the life of the composer. As a special treat 13 year old pianist Andrew Harris
will perform one of the most famous piece by Beethoven : Für Elise.
As always, children are welcome to attend the concert or a workshop just for them in an adjacent space.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased through
our website:
