Swing by Phog on Friday, February 15 for a night of music and drink. Local pop singer-songwriter Crissi Cochrane headlines with a set of new music, following a performance from returning folk singer-songwriter Zachary Lucky, whose newest record is named for his homeland: Saskatchewan.
“Don’t let her sweet folk-pop fool you; singer-songwriter Crissi Cochrane is a workhorse.” – Josh Kolm, The Lance
By turns vivaciously energetic and unassumingly sweet, folk/pop darling Crissi Cochrane charms listeners with her honest lyricism, nuanced songwriting, and dynamic performances.
“Striking and beautifully crafted, the songs on Zachary Lucky’s debut album reveal a talent for melody and a newfound confidence” – Exclaim.ca
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – he was never one to wander to far off the beaten track – until he showed up on the Canadian music circuit in August of 2010 with his debut full length recording “Come and Gone.” At the age of 23, Zachary Lucky is back with the much anticipated release, Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is a patchwork of words, melodies and stories entrenched in all that Saskatchewan is.
