Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement.

They say that shower and thunderstorm activity may affect extreme southwestern Ontario overnight into Saturday morning. At this point, it appears that the heaviest rainfall will remain west of the region in Lower Michigan.

However, if the activity ends up moving farther east than currently expected, portions of southwestern Ontario may see significant rainfall amounts possibly exceeding 30 millimetres.
