The University of Windsor’s Publishing Practicum class as well as Black Moss Press launched 2 books this evening at their Experience 150 Book Launch at the Caboto Club.

The practicum course, which was regarded by Maclean’s as one of the  “Cool Courses” at the University, went through all of the steps of the editing and publication process to give real-world experience to the students.

The evening included access to purchase the newly published books, the opportunity to get them autographed, appetizers, live music and performances, and live readings from the authors themselves.

The 2 books they launched this year were: 1967: Centennial Year by Bruce Meyer and Tom Thomson on the Threshold of Magic by Barry Brodie.
