Windsor Police have made an arrest after a shooting incident Monday evening.

Police say that just after 5:30pm they were called to an apartment building located at 8717 Riverside Drive East for several reports of shots being fired.

They say that a man was standing next to a parked vehicle and appeared to be having a verbal argument with the occupants. The man was then reported to have discharged a handgun multiple times into the vehicle, and then walked into the apartment building.

Officers soon made contact with the man, and he was arrested without incident.

Investigators have confirmed that this was not a random act, and that the involved parties were all known to one another.

Police subsequently executed a search warrant which resulted in the recovery of a firearm and ammunition.

Lamar Struthers, a 46 year old man from Windsor, is charged with three counts if attempted murder, four counts of point firearm, two counts of assault and one count of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
