A new apartment building could be coming to the Town of Tecumseh.

The proposed five storey building would be build at 11,957 Tecumseh Road East, approximately 50 metres west of the intersection at Shawnee Road.

The proposed building will have 44 units consisting. A live-work unit, a common room, and five apartment units will occupy the first floor, while the second to fourth floors will each have 11 apartment units.  These floors will extend over a portion of the parking area.

The fifth floor will have five units with the northerly and southerly units recessed to reduce building massing along Tecumseh Road and to minimize the impact of the height on the residential areas to the south.

A public meeting will be held on the new development on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at 6pm at Tecumseh Town Hall.
