The City of Windsor will join communities across Canada in remembering the lives of those lost in Sunday night’s shootings in Quebec.

A candlelight gathering will be held to show solidarity and pay tribute to those affected by Sunday night’s fatal shooting at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Quebec in the community of Sainte-Foy Quebec this past Sunday, January 29th, 2017.

It will take place on the north side of City Hall starting at 7pm.

Some candles will be provided, but those attending are encouraged to bring their own candles as well, preferably in a wind-resistant container if possible, as winter weather can bring high winds.
