Deceased Male Found In Leamington Park

OPP say that a deceased body found in a Leamingtron park was there as a result of an earlier car crash.

Police say that the body was found around 11:30am on November 4th, 2016 in the vicinity of a baseball diamond at Mersea Park, situated at the intersection of Point Pelee Drive and Mersea Road C.

The deceased was identified as George Weldon, age 56 of Leamington who was the alleged driver of a single motor vehicle collision which occurred at approximately 9:30pm, on November 3rd, 2016.

The collision occurred on Bevel Line near Monarch Lane which is approximately 800 metres from where the deceased was found.
