Washrooms In City Parks Set To Close For The Season

City parks crews have begun the process of closing and winterizing seasonal washrooms.

It is a process that starts following the Thanksgiving long weekend and involves the water blown out of plumbing, antifreeze is added where needed and doors are locked until spring.

“We always try to do the washrooms where parents might have children playing near closed last and opened first”, said Parks Operations Manager Yvan Mantha, “but eventually they all close”.

The seasonal washrooms winterization and closures should be complete by week’s end
