The Education Quality and Accountability Office has cancelled the online literacy assessment scheduled for today due to widespread technical issues with the online Ontario Secondary Student Literacy Test network.

Eligible students were to write the literacy test online today at secondary schools across the province, including all 14 of the GECDSB’s secondary schools.

Today’s online assessment was a trial of technical systems.

The Public Board says they are awaiting for information from EQAO about next steps.
