East Windsor Staples Store Reopening Soon

The Staples store on Tecumseh Road East is slated to reopen this weekend after fire caused its closure.

The store, located at 7126 Tecumseh Road East Windsor, closed back in July after a faulty power bar caused a fire.

The fire broke out just after 1pm on July 27th at the back of the store, and set off the sprinkler system, flooding the entire store.

Everyone who was in the store at the time made it out safely.

Fire officials said lithium batteries stored where the fire started caused the fire to spread.

The store is set to reopen Saturday October 22nd at 9am.
