Mark Hyland of Windsor has been named as winner of a new roof in Dayus Roofing’s No Roof Left Behind contest.

Hyland worked as a paramedic for 25 years, before his arthritis forced him to retire from the job he loved. Since then, he has had both knees replaced and is soon to be going in for a hip replacement. With all of the leaking in his roof, the entire bathroom ceiling has fallen in and the ceilings in adjacent rooms have started to fall as well.

“I just want to thank everyone who voted for me. This really means so much to me,” says Hyland.

The new roof will be installed this fall.
