Tecumseh Preparing To Develop New Official Plan

The Town of Tecumseh is hosting two public open houses as part of the process in the development of a new Official Plan.

The open houses will provide an opportunity for the public to review and discuss 12 discussion papers previously received by Council. They cover a range of topics, including planning context and issues report, growth management and urban structure, agricultural and rural issues, employment lands, community improvement plan, housing and residential intensification, urban design, commercial development, natural heritage, transportation, parks and open space, and sustainability.

Key findings of each of the discussion papers will be presented to the public for review and comment. Input received will help the Town understand identified issues and consideration of any other issues important to the community.

The Open Houses will operate as informal, drop in sessions.

The first is on Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at the Ciociaro Club.  The second will be held on Thursday, September 15th, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at the Town of Tecumseh Municipal Offices.
