Environment Canada says that significant rainfall is on the way.

They warn that frequent showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to affect the regions into Friday. The showers will become quite heavy at times.

Rainfall amounts of 35 to 60 mm are forecast by tomorrow evening in many places, with the heaviest rain likely falling tonight and Thursday morning.

Caution is advised tonight and Thursday due to ponding of water on roads, and potentially fast flowing creeks.

The rain is being produced by a slow moving low pressure system over the Ohio Valley.
