The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society reports that a dog stolen from their adoption centre has been found.

The dog, named Sado, was last seen in her run at 12:30pm on Sunday, September 11th. She was noted to be missing a short time later at 2:15pm.

“We suspect that when the thieves saw all the media and social media about her and learned that she was microchipped they decided to let her go. A caring woman came across her in a local park, recognized her immediately, and brought her back to the Humane Society. She will be spayed this week, and ready for adoption within a few days,” said Executive Director Melanie Coulter.
